Dog bite nurse wins case

It goes unquestioned that Nurses should have the right to work in conditions that are safe. In this case our client was a community psychiatric nurse tending to a patient of theirs when the patient’s dog bit his hand. Our clients hand was badly wounded. The client should have been warned that there was a potentially dangerous dog in the house by his employers, who were fully aware of the situation.

We were able to win a generous sum for this client who commented: “From start to finish staff have handled my affairs in the most professional and sensitive manner, yet maintaining a personal and friendly approach throughout. Everything was explained to me in a clear and concise way, without appearing condescending at any time, allowing for clear communication between us. I have had complete confidence in the solicitors and administrators and would highly recommend the team to friends or family.”
