Biography
Andrew is a Director of the firm and has many years experience practicing personal injury law. He commenced his legal career working for a prominent law firm based in Bath before moving to work in Berkshire. Andrew joined Harris Fowler in 2007 as a senior litigator before being made an Associate in 2009. In 2014 Andrew was appointed to the position of Associate Director and in 2017 was made a Director to the Board of Directors.
Andrew has spent his legal career representing clients who have sustained personal injury. He has successfully obtained compensation for clients of all ages who have sustained injuries of a physical and psychological nature. He is experienced in dealing with cases involving amongst other things road traffic accidents, accidents at work, accidents in public places and defective products. Andrew has a particular interest in dealing with claims where liability is disputed and cases that involve court proceedings. Andrew’s cases frequently involve obtaining expert evidence to address both the issue of fault and the value of the claim.
In dealing with disputed claims Andrew adopts the Harris Fowler ethos of dealing with claims in a robust and thorough manner. An example of this is a recent case where a client was injured on a building site. The occurrence of the accident was denied and liability was disputed. Andrew progressed the case to trial where his client was successful and went on to secure compensation of over £150,000.
Andrew understands the importance to his clients of ensuring that the best possible medical evidence is obtained in order to achieve the required compensation and also to identify and secure treatment to help the seriously injured get their lives back on track.
