Qualified as Solicitor 1995
Ashley Webb – Associate Director
Ashley Webb qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and started his career working in Southampton and London on both Claimant and Defendant claims across a wide range of personal injury types. He later moved to work in Portsmouth managing a wide range of mainly Claimant personal injury cases.
He joined Harris Fowler solicitors in January 2001 and quickly built up a client base working on both multi-track and fast-track claims. In 2005 he was promoted to Associate and given the additional responsibility of overall management of the Field Agents and to ensure that Risk Assessments were carried out in relation to the critical dates for the courts .
Ashley was made a Salaried Partner of the firm in December 2005 and an Associate Director on the 6th June 2011. He is part of the specialist Clinical & Medical Negligence Team and has a wide-ranging case load of both multi-track and fast-track cases.
In keeping with the ethos at Harris Fowler, where we adopt a robust and thorough approach for our clients, Ashley represented a four year-old girl who had been mauled by a dog. Her previous solicitors had discontinued her case on the basis that they felt there was poor prospects of success. Ashley was asked to review the previous file and took on the case. Although there were numerous complex issues, including the fact that the young girls’s injuries were life threatening, Ashley was able to secure a successful outcome for the family who received in excess of £60,000 compensation.
Ashley feels that one of the most rewarding parts of his role at Harris Fowler is representing clients who have often had their cases discontinued by other firms and through commitment and hard work has secured a successful outcome.
