Chartered Legal Executive
Chloe Edwards joined Harris Fowler Solicitors in early 2008 following a year out backpacking around the world having finished her A Levels, including Law, at Richard Huish College in Taunton. Aspiring to be a lawyer she joined Harris Fowler which immediately allowed her to experience the practical aspects of hands-on case handling. Since 2008 Chloe has recovered many thousands of pounds in compensation for her clients and continues to do so at a remarkable rate.
She has developed her skills with a wide variety of road accident claims and has become an important member of the road traffic accident team. She deals with rear-end shunts, whiplash claims, accidents involving pedestrians, multi-car traffic collisions, accidents involving cyclists and motorcyclists, Low Velocity Impacts, accidents caused by defects on the road and faulty work vehicles. Chloe has dealt with cases occurring in a range of locations outside of England and Wales including France, Lithuania, The Falkland Islands and Ireland.
Chloe has experience in claims to the Motor Insurers’ Bureau in order to secure compensation for claimants who have been the victim of a hit and run or have been involved in an accident with an uninsured driver. More recently she has been dealing with more non Road Traffic cases including public liability, occupiers’ liability, Armed Forces Compensation Scheme [AFCS] and injuries involving dog bite cases.
Chloe feels the most rewarding aspect of the job is standing up for claimants who have wrongly been told by a defendant insurer that an accident was their own fault and going on to recover damages for their injuries and losses.
