Occupational Illness Claims

Occupational Illness is the term used for injury or illness resulting from something you have done , or come into contact with, at work.

Such claims include asbestos and respiratory-based disease claims, noise-related conditions, vibration white finger cases (caused by long term exposure to vibration transmitted to the hands from tools and machinery), work-related upper limb disorders (commonly called RSI – Repetitive Strain Injury) and dermatitis-type claims following, typically, exposure to some harmful substance.

Where injury is caused by stress occasioned at work, typically to do with pressure or volumes of work of an unreasonable amount, there can be a claim for compensation.
