Scott Goodsir started his working career by joining the Royal Marines in 1987 whereupon he served for over 9 years, completing tours in Northern Ireland and Northern Iraq as well as the Arctic, the Far East and Middle East, Caribbean and mainland Europe. After leaving the Royal Marines he joined the Avon and Somerset Constabulary spending over 3 years working on the beat around the Taunton and Bridgwater areas dealing with all walks of life and all kinds of difficult situations.
Scott joined Harris Fowler Solicitors in 2000 and has worked within a variety of roles across the practice, starting at paralegal and then working up to full time case handler. Scott has predominantly operated as a Field Agent whilst at Harris Fowler meeting clients in their homes across the country to support them through the process of making a claim. Recently Scott has also assisted the CEO as the Business Development and Marketing Manager.
Utilising the expertise and knowledge gained from the variety of roles that Scott has held at Harris Fowler, Scott works within the Legal Claims Advisory team speaking with new clients daily and supporting our lawyers with existing clients to ensure the best outcome for their case. Scott guides our clients through the initial part of the claims process, gathers evidence and assists the lawyers and the clients throughout the case.
Scott has two grown up children and is a qualified Level 2 RFU rugby union coach. He has now taken on the head coach role at Wyvern (Somerset) RFC. He enjoys time with his family and friends whenever he has the chance to get away from work.
