Chartered Legal Executive
Andrea qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (FCILEx) in 2005, and has worked within the personal injury sector since 1999. Andrea joined Harris Fowler in 2016, after 11 years in her previous position as the Head of the Personal Injury Department within a local firm.
Andrea looks after people who have had accidents and suffered injury when it wasn’t their fault by giving them legal advice, and guiding them through the claims process. She has a diverse range of clients including people who have had accidents at work, road traffic accidents, cyclists, claims on behalf of children, physical abuse, fatal accident and dependency claims, and claims made to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA).
Her main aim is to always get the best for her clients, by way of treatment, experts and compensation, and to ensure her clients understand the process when making their claim.
Whilst employed in banking Andrea worked in debt collection. During that time she became interested in litigation and began to study law.
Andrea finds it particularly rewarding when she’s able to remove the stressful element of making a claim from her clients, and building a relationship of trust with them so they know they really are being looked after and that Harris Fowler will get the best result for them.
She enjoys spending time with her family and taking walks in the country and on the beach with her dog. She loves to be outdoors, especially on her allotment. She can often be seen around the town on her scooter!
Andrea is recognised as a Senior Litigator with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
