This is a fantastic opportunity to join an IT team within a progressive law firm. The successful candidate will be trained in all areas of the department, including networking, computer building, and scripting and 1st line support. The IT Apprentice must have a can-do, mature attitude towards their work.

Job Description:

  • Day to day troubleshooting and IT support for the organisation
  • Working towards building skills and knowledge around servers, networking, firewalls and routing protocols
  • Supporting with preparation, maintenance and refurbishment of equipment undertaken by the department
  • Working towards building skills and knowledge to successfully complete the apprenticeship
  • Ad-hoc IT related duties as and when required

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Grade C/4 or above in GCSE English and Maths
  • Good basic computer literacy
  • Confident using MS operating systems.
  • Confident using MS office products (Word, Outlook and Excel)
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to show initiative and be proactive
  • Prioritisation and organisational skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team
