HR Manager MCIPD
Gemma Beattie joined the Practice at the beginning of 2014; Gemma brings a wealth of HR experience to the Practice having honed her skills within the public sector prior to joining Harris Fowler.
Previously Gemma has spent the past 6 years working for the Met Office in a strategic HR role, supporting the Met Office to achieve large scale restructures and supporting the Directors and Senior Management to deliver a range of HR initiatives, including succession planning and talent management. At Harris Fowler Gemma is a key member of the Management Team. Gemma supports the Practice by providing expert generalist HR knowledge, dealing with a range of areas from strategic planning to dealing with day to day people issues.
Working with the support of the Assistant Office Manager, Gemma ensures that Harris Fowler employs the right people for the right job. Once the hiring is complete, Gemma will make sure that the staff are fully trained, performing effectively and adhering to employment law.
Outside of work Gemma has two young daughters to keep her busy. Gemma’s spare time is spent juggling family, friends, swimming lessons and play dates!
