Amy Onesti, Solicitor & Legal Assistant
Amy left Cardiff University following completion of the Legal Practice Course and took up a training contract in a Gloucester based firm. Upon qualifying as a Solicitor in 2007, Amy joined the team at Harris Fowler working for the Director as his Legal Assistant.
Amy then gained valuable experience working in Bristol in 2008 in Defendant personal injury. She then returned to Harris Fowler to continue developing her experience in Claimant personal injury claims.
In addition to having broad knowledge of personal injury claims she is now working as an integral member of the team which specialises in claims through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) to get compensation for clients who have been physically or mentally injured because they were the blameless victim of a violent crime.
What is the most rewarding aspect of your job?
Amy feels the most rewarding aspect of her job is seeing a matter through to the end and seeing a client who she has been working with receive the compensation they deserve.
What do you do for fun?
In her spare time Amy loves reading, watching films and raising her child and dog! She’s also Vice Chair of the Somerset Deaf Children’s Society.
