Biography

Caroline is a Senior Costs Draftsman who prepares complex Bills of Costs and multi-million-pound Costs Budgets across a wide range of litigation matters.

Since specialising exclusively in Legal Costs in 2012, Caroline has worked on Personal Injury, Medical Negligence, Commercial Litigation and Catastrophic Injury claims. She regularly attends CCMC hearings, provides training to colleagues, and supports fee earners with costs-related matters. Her detailed knowledge and advocacy skills ensure robust costs recovery for clients.

Notable Work
Caroline successfully persuaded a Judge at a CCMC hearing to allow over £200,000 in omitted costs — including court fees, expert fees and counsel fees — after identifying the issue at short notice. Her intervention secured a significantly improved outcome for the client.
