Starting as a Trainee Costs Draftsman, Diane soon qualified as a Law Costs Draftsman, becoming an associate of the Association of Law Costs Draftsmen, and a fellow a few years later, working for both Claimant and Defendant cost drafting companies.
In 2007, Diane was incredibly proud to become one of the first-ever qualified Costs Lawyers. As a specialist in costs, she was keen to build on her experience and pursue qualification, gaining higher legal privileges than Costs Draftsmen. To maintain her membership of the Costs Lawyer Standards Board, Diane completes CPD every year and adheres to the highest client service standards in costs.
Diane founded her own Costs Lawyer practice in 2011, which she ran for 15 years.
With a career spanning over 30 years in the legal costs industry, Diane is driven by a passion for helping claimant solicitors budget for and recover their costs quickly and effectively.
Outside of work, Diane enjoys Pilates, playing piano and being a busy mum.
